The Ritz Carlton-Key Biscayne is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a seasonal full time Padel Coach. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior playing conditions for our members and their guests. The position provides the ultimate tennis experience by offering the highest quality padel instruction and customer service, teaching various padel programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides beginning through advanced instruction (private and group) for all levels and ages of players.
• Assists in the promotion of and conducting tennis clinics, private lessons, special events and programs to attract and maintain members'/guests' and padel interests.
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive padel lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement in tennis.
• Assists in supervising play and ensure proper charging of fees.
• Ensure students understand tennis rules, scoring procedures, safety rules and tennis etiquette.
• Enforces all club rules and regulations governing the use of the club/facility, its equipment and other property.
• Performs racquet stringing.
• Quickly and efficiently responds to member/guest questions, comments, and concerns in a professional, tactful manner.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• USTA NetGeneration Certification is required as a condition of employment.
• Minimum 2-year experience required.
• Experience teaching tennis lessons to adults and juniors of various levels.

• Ability to read and speak English may be required.
• Skill level equivalent to a minimum 4.0 USTA rating.
• Basic computer and email skills.
