Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Requirements

  • Outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Enjoy hosting others.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests.
  • A minimum of one year of cashiering and/or money handling experience.
  • Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Assistant Shift Manager or Manager.
  • Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.
  • Able to navigate multiple computer programs.
  • Able to pass background check.
  • Able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
  • Open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Fostering a fun environment.
  • Being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
  • Promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility paddock areas using appropriate equipment and cleaning chemicals.
  • Performing routine cleaning and project cleaning (signage/light fixtures/vents, etc.).
  • Properly cleaning, storing, and maintaining department equipment.
  • Adhering to regulatory, safety, departmental and company policies.
  • Supporting safety and accident prevention programs and informing manager on duty of any safety problems or concerns.
  • Removing and cleaning of paddock floor pads.
  • Presenting oneself as a credit to the Company and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Performing other duties as needed.
