About The Position

The PAD Attendant is responsible to clean and service assigned areas according to the standards of cleanliness set by management to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe, and attractive environment for our Guests.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently with other Members, departments, guests, and management
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
  • Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident, and well-groomed manner
  • Knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations impacting cleaning such as OSHA
  • Ability to obtain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
  • Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls. The Member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
  • The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, and service assigned public areas (lobby, casino, elevators, public area restrooms, and other public areas)
  • Perform floor care to include sweeping and mopping floors and stairwells; sealing, waxing, and polishing tile, marble, and brass; cleaning and shampooing carpets; and vacuuming hallways and offices
  • Clean ashtrays and remove trash from designated areas and dispose accordingly
  • Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents
  • Service and maintain all public areas as assigned and instructed
  • Attend daily meetings at the start of each shift
  • Provide exceptional, courteous, friendly service to guests and fellow Members that differentiates us from the competition
  • Contact the manager on duty on any guest-related complaints
  • Always maintain supplies in a neat orderly manner
  • Maintain full knowledge and understanding of Company and departmental rules and regulations
  • Promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
