About The Position

Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first orthopedic surgery and inpatient rehabilitation facility in the Las Vegas area, offering both specialty orthopedics and inpatient rehab in one location. The PACU RN provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. This role also provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, with Patient Centered Care as the foundation for all nursing care. The PACU RN oversees and guides employees under their supervision and demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent.
  • One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
  • Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
  • Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty or department.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
