About The Position

We are seeking an experienced PACU RN to provide high-quality post-operative care to surgical patients. Requirements

Minimum 1 year recent PACU RN acute care experience (Critical Care experience preferred).
Florida RN license or compact multistate RN license (Florida license must be obtained within 60 days if relocating).
RN Diploma or Associate Degree.
BCLS certification or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of hire.
ACLS certification or ACLS Instructor within 60 days of hire.
PALS certification or PALS Instructor within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, evidence-based post-operative care for surgical patients.
Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs throughout shifts.
Respond promptly to complications or adverse events.
Provide initial wound care and support patient recovery.
Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
Document patient condition and interventions thoroughly.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous patient care coverage.
