About The Position

H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery has an exciting opportunity for a full-time PACU RN to join our upscale plastic surgery center in Huntersville, NC! This position would be Monday - Friday, 4 days a week and typically 10 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00 am - 8:00 pm shift. A bit about the position:  Providing PACU coverage to 1-2 patients at a time; assisting with OR turnover, stocking supplies and daily perioperative tasks for surgical case preparation. What you can expect in this role: Monitoring post-operative patients who are in the immediate phases of recovery from a surgical procedure through discharge. Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, perform dressing changes, administer necessary medications. Assess overall status and educate patients and their families about home care instructions. Proper EMR documentation. What we are looking for in a candidate: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid RN license required. 2 years of RN experience. PACU experience required. Equivalent combination of school and work experience. Self-driven, able to work as part of a team and motivated for a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking skills and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

Requirements
