About The Position

The position is for PACU RNs at Fort Cavazos Military Base. The role requires a contract employment type and is located at the Fort Cavazos Military Base. Candidates must have an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree from an accredited institution recognized by ACEN or CCNE. Additionally, candidates must hold certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from either AHA or ARC. The position requires at least 1 year of experience out of the last 2 years, and candidates must have an active unrestricted nursing license. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) must be completed in the past 2 years, and a moderate sedation certification is also required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
