The PACT Representative I is a full-time, benefits-eligible position within the Enterprise Corporate - Patient Access & Care Team: NC/GA Operations department. This role is responsible for seamlessly linking the patient experience between PACT and the practice site by using facility/provider information and established policies. The representative assists inbound callers, makes outbound calls when necessary, and escalates complex problems. Key duties include scheduling appointments, coordinating cancellations and reschedules, obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance information, and ensuring accuracy in patient records. The role also involves identifying emergent calls for transfer to a Registered Nurse, handling critical calls, determining patient needs for routing to triage or scheduling, and processing medication refill requests. Customer service is a core component, with expectations to provide excellent service, ask clarifying questions, present solutions, and escalate only when essential. Additionally, the representative assists with organizational marketing efforts, maintains provider and marketing databases, and performs other department-specific duties, while maintaining knowledge of all departmental information systems.
