About The Position

Under the administrative/clinical supervision of the PACT Director, the PACT Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical supervision and training to assigned staff members. The PACT Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision to co-occurring and/or mental health Intensive Home Based Treatment (IHBT) Therapists in the PACT department.

Requirements

  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field. Valid Ohio LISW-S, LPCC-S, or IMFT-S required; LICDC-CS preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills including expertise in systemic family therapy, crisis intervention, family education, behavioral interventions, group work, and substance abuse therapy.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills. Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes, and abilities.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions.
  • Practical and creative problem solving skills.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency’s insurance company. Must be approved by the Agency to transport clients in own vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly individual supervision to four (4) to eight (8) staff members.
  • Provide group supervision to staff members as needed.
  • Be available to staff members 24/7 on a rotation to assist in managing crises.
  • Provide line supervision of cases either on campus or in the homes as directed as necessary.
  • Provide line supervision of group therapy, family counseling, and case management services.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Provide staff training programs to deliver necessary skills to implement the program.
  • Participate in public relations efforts.
  • Participate in research activities to provide for the evaluation of the program’s effectiveness and consumer satisfaction.
  • Ensure successful Fidelity Reviews for programs providing IHBT and/or ICT services
  • Carry a caseload as necessary.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
  • All required trainings, certifications, and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
