Are you ready to work as a Packing Coordinator on 2nd shift!! Hourly Pay Range: $25.82 per hour. Training requirement: 1st shift for 4+ weeks and, then move to 2nd shift.

  • Ensure all orders are completed according to prints, routings, set-up sheets & first piece sheets
  • Communicate effectively with team members and Team Leader to achieve high efficiency and high quality within production area
  • Follow route sheets so proper production and packing methods are met
  • Set up and troubleshoot machinery
  • Ensure all product, cartons, and skids are properly marked and labeled
  • Ensure correct material is staged for next order by efficient planning and communication with team members
  • Attempt to solve production related problems prior to involving Team Leader and/or Maintenance
  • Perform first piece inspection process on assigned characteristics
  • Complete all applicable paperwork (production reports, scrap reports, finished goods tickets, etc.)
  • Ensure extra material is properly labeled and returned to stock
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
  • Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required
  • Read & follow set-up sheets, route sheets, and first-piece inspection sheets
  • Follow written and oral instruction
  • Exhibit mechanical aptitude

  • A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience
