About The Position

SARSTEDT, a leading manufacturer and distributor of blood collection and medical devices, laboratory consumables and instrumentation, seeks a Packer. Summary Responsible for packing and labeling products before they are shipped to customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for packaging and labeling products according to production schedule.
• Verifies documentation and quality of product before final packaging.
• Works according to safety regulations at all times and reports unsafe conditions immediately to lead person.
• Operates robot, pallet jack, and other electronic machinery as necessary.
