About The Position

Performs standard packing operations to fill, mark, label, band, tie, pack, and/or wrap containers with products and materials. Tallies, weighs, transports, stacks, and arranges products and packed containers. May obtain and sort items to be packaged and replenish packaging supplies.

Requirements

• Ability to use scales
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours per shift
• Use of Vantage
• Ability to make boxes
• Basic data entry skills
• Safety minded at all times
• Basic reading and math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers

Responsibilities

• Get list of jobs from supervisor
• Gather basket or container of parts for packing
• Get boxes from QC with green “okay to pack” sheets’
• Put boxes together
• Pack parts in boxes
• Visual inspection of parts while packing
• Print inventory labels
• Put labels on boxes for shipment
• Look for burrs, defects, plating defects on parts
• Put boxes on skids
• Move skids into approved area
• Enter counts into Vantage
• Clean work area
• All other duties as assigned
