High school diploma or equivalent, no prior experience or training
Responsibilities
Performs highly repetitive trimming, flaming, assembly, inspection, counting, and packaging of injection and/or blow molded components and parts
Visually inspects product for defects as defined in the QAS (Quality Assurance Standard)
Counts parts and individual packages within cases either by stack height or weight as required
Ensures that cases are labeled correctly, in the proper sequence, stamped with an operator/packer stamp, and stacks cases on pallets
Performs secondary operations as required
Reworks/sorts defective product as necessary
Maintains a steady rate of work as to meet or exceed standard labor costs
