About The Position

We are looking for individuals to fill Packer positions in a manufacturing setting. Candidates must have strong work ethic, attendance and desire to perform well during their shifts.

Requirements

Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
Willingness to learn and adapt to various roles.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
1-2 years in last position is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing setting is not required.
Demonstrated ability to calculate with basic arithmetic and metrology, using measuring instruments such as rulers, tape measure and other quality tools at the line.
Ability to operate common packaging equipment
Ability to read prints and quality expectations
Ability to read and understand work order information
Ability to perform basic quality checks using gages and required measuring tools

Nice To Haves

1-2 years in last position is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing setting is not required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for packaging product neatly and accurately according to the packaging instructions
Responsible for keeping their extrusion line(s) clean and organized following 5s guidelines
Responsible for any additional fabrication that is required on a specific extrusion line
Responsible to package product on extrusion lines as required by supervisor
Responsible to assist in breaking other packers when possible.
Perform necessary process checks including but not limited to box counts, audits, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned
