About The Position

Packer-
Livonia- Afternoon Shift (3pm-1am) Monday-Friday & (1pm-9pm) Saturday
Review and comprehend all work order instructions and processes that are to be followed and completed as assigned.
Complete Work Orders assigned or as directed.
Measure and review the quality of extrusion products (i.e.: length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) reporting any discrepancies to supervisor or department manager immediately
Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order using variety of methods (bander, plastic wrap, cardboard, wood, etc)
Review, verify, and sign the completion of work orders.
Maintain plant floor-working area housekeeping at all times or as assigned to ensure safety requirements are met.
Follow all rules and practices at at all times.
This position requires punctuality and excellent attendance, with the physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive sitting, standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, daily inspection of operating equipment and extreme temperatures.

Requirements

• Must have 1-2yrs. working experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess math skills including reading tape measures, calipers, etc. to perform duties assigned.
• Must have and maintain excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.
• Must be proficient in English to communicate and perform the duties and/or as assigned (read, write, etc.)
• Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.
