About The Position

The Packer is responsible for safely handling, inspecting, and packaging finished aluminum products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards prior to shipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to read work orders and use basic measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Stand, bend, and move for extended periods
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished materials for defects, damage, or inconsistencies
• Package aluminum extrusions using proper materials (wrap, cardboard, strapping, etc.)
• Label products accurately according to work orders and shipping requirements
• Operate packaging equipment such as banders, stretch wrap machines, and saws
• Maintain organization of packing area and staging zones
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
• Assist with loading and preparing shipments as needed
