About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Packer - 1st Shift at our Dallas, TX facility! The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. The core hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The Packer will be responsible for packing orders in our Parcel, Pack Center, and Flex Center Pack Out Stations utilizing our Flagship system. Requirements

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
Minimum 6 Months experience with Forklift/ Cherry picker /Reach Truck.

Responsibilities

Utilize packing slips to generate and print move tickers, break down materials, sort styles, verify counts, and restock warehouse locations using RF scanners.
Verify styles and quantities of picked materials, visually inspect products, scan and place them in shipping cartons. Add packing material to prevent damage, and place packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels as needed.
Resolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate.
Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary.
