About The Position

The Packer is responsible for preparing, packing, labeling, and inspecting
orders for shipment to ensure accuracy and quality. This role plays a critical
part in fulfilling customer orders on time while maintaining high safety and
quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and picking systems is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following established safety protocols at all times.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to submit to a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols while handling shipments. Report hazards or incidents to management immediately.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications. Verify correct quantities, item types, and condition of products prior to packing.
• Packing & Labeling: Pack items securely using appropriate packing materials. Label boxes and packages clearly and accurately for shipping. Ensure orders are packed efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
• Inspection & Quality Control: Perform final quality checks before packing. Report any damaged, incorrect, or missing items.
• Inventory Interaction: Communicate with inventory or receiving staff about low stock or errors. Record packed quantities in inventory systems if required.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with shipping, inventory, and receiving teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized assigned work area at all times during your scheduled shift.
• Other Duties as assigned.
