About The Position

Market Leader in Aluminum Extrusion is seeking a dependable person to work in our Packing department. Able to stand all day, lift 40 plus pounds and work in non air conditioned environment. Must have good math and measuring skills. Valid drivers license required to operate forklift. 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Saturday Prepares and packs customer orders for shipment. Inspects metal and counts pieces. Packs metal according to printed customer specifications. Ensures correct count of pieces is displayed on packed bundles. Works in 2-person teams to handle heavy packing jobs. Performance is measured against established productivity goals. Maintains clean and orderly workplace. Observes safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor. Weekends are required.
