About The Position

The company is expanding its global team and is looking for talented individuals. This Packer position is in the Operations Department, reporting to Plant Supervisory Staff, and is an hourly role. The purpose of the position is to pack boxes and prepare products for shipment. Requirements

Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required
Ability to work in space limited work area on continuous basis.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Removes finished products from the machine, places product labels, packs item in bags and cartons, and places finished product in proper location as per specifications.
Performs advanced quality checks, and effectively communicates with operator and supervisor to ensure that finished products are made to required quality specifications.
Aids in the proper and effective operation of the machinery.
Willing to assist in other areas of the plant, including to cover lunches and breaks as required.
Performs all work in a safety first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills.
