The Packer is responsible for preparing finished furniture products for shipment by properly wrapping, protecting, labeling, and staging items to ensure safe delivery to customers. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to lift heavy furniture consistently up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in packing and shipping office furniture a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished furniture for defects or damage prior to packaging
• Wrap, pad, box, and secure furniture using protective materials
• Apply correct labels, tags, and shipping documentation
• Assemble boxes as needed
• Follow packing specifications and customer-specific requirements
• Operate hand tools, tape machines, and packaging equipment
• Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with loading packages onto trucks
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
