Job Summary: The Packer-Stager is responsible for coordinating the staging process utilizing the RF process, and performing variance checks. The responsibilities include utilizing the Package Level Detail system to verify items and quantities against orders, prepare orders for shipment and assist with picking orders as needed. Job Level: Entry Level

Requirements

• Computer literate - AS400 knowledge and experience.
• Forklift operations.
• Lift 10-50 lbs. repetitively.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.
• Must enjoy working as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Ability to match and verify product information accurately.
• Ability to work in other areas as necessary.
• Ability to work overtime as business requires.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and do basic mathematics. Understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety, work instructions, policies, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform packing tasks assigned by Supervisor, i.e., repack primary LTL packaging, rod packing, and SDQ processing.
• Perform variance checks utilizing the Package Level Detail system.
• Read orders for packing information and special instructions and pack accordingly.
• Coordinate staging process utilizing RF process.
• Adhere to customer requirements.
• Perform additional responsibilities directed by Supervisor.
