About The Position

As a Print Packer/Shipper at Staples, you will be part of a collaborative and inclusive team supporting the inbound and outbound operations of our Digital Print Facility. This role is not in a Staples store; instead, it takes place in dedicated Print Facilities that handle large print orders originating from our stores. You will have the opportunity to grow and cross-train in different functions within the facility, regardless of your prior experience in print.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task; sound organizational skills
• Ability to use basic shop tools, identify problems and address them proactively
• Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members
• Ability to maneuver, lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 70 pounds regularly; as well as stand, kneel, crouch, and walk continuously

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of printed products prior to packing to ensure accuracy
• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage
• Identify and dispose of defective items
• Keep complete records of all materials and printed products
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines regarding packaging
• Perform basic housekeeping to maintain a clean work area
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (i.e., stock replenishments, serve as back up driver)
