About The Position

We are often asked if this is a role in a Staples store; it is not. We have dedicated Print Facilities to handle large print orders that originate from our stores. As a Print Packer/Shipper, you will be part of a collaborative and inclusive team as you support inbound and outbound operations of the Print Facility.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task; sound organizational skills
• Ability to use basic shop tools, identify problems and address them proactively
• Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members
• Ability to maneuver, lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 70 pounds regularly; as well as stand, kneel, crouch, and walk continuously

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of printed products prior to packing to ensure accuracy
• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage
• Identify and dispose of defective items
• Keep complete records of all materials and printed products
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines regarding packaging
• Perform basic housekeeping to maintain a clean work area
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (i.e., stock replenishments, serve as back up driver)
