About The Position

The Packer Scrapper position at Tyson Foods involves setting up the work area with all necessary equipment and performing minor maintenance on machinery. The role requires monitoring the production area for cleanliness, including the removal of trash and food debris. Employees will be tasked with various duties assigned by the Lead Person, Supervisor, or Superintendent, and must ensure the work area is cleaned at the end of the production shift, which includes sweeping and spraying work areas.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
• Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
