About The Position

This position involves working on the production line, specifically focusing on the handling and packaging of filters. The role requires attention to detail to ensure that quality standards are met while maintaining production speeds. Employees will be responsible for various tasks including counting, stacking, and placing filters into bags or onto conveyors, as well as verifying that the packaging is done correctly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Ability to count and handle filters accurately.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to sit or stand for eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Count, grab, stack, and place filters onto conveyors or in poly bags while maintaining quality standards and production speeds.
• Follow verbal or written directions accurately.
• Ensure the correct bags for the job are being used and load them onto the tray when necessary.
• Verify that filters are centered in the bag as they are discharged from the auto bagger.
• Check that the lot number and time stamp are present on the bags.
• Ensure that bags are straight and upright as they are discharged from the auto bagger to feed properly into the auto sealer.
• Remove unbagged filters from the conveyor belt and place them into the recycle bin.
• In case of a sealer belt break, turn off the auto bagger and sealer, and inform the lead person and machine operator to shut off the machine.
• Place the correct amount of finished units into the master.
