The packer position is responsible for screening, packing, and boxing quality products from an assembly line. Requirements

• Must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds (with assistance)
• Able to screen the product for defects before packing
• For hourly applicants, complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment

Responsibilities

• Pack corn chips into the box off a chute repeatedly
• Assemble boxes lined with a bag and pack chips
• Inspect boxes to ensure proper weight
• On occasion, lift boxes of products weighing up to 35 pounds
• Keep work areas clean, adhering to GMP guidelines
• Rotate between the different positions on the line
• Safely perform work
• Abide by all company policies/procedures, written or verbal
• Work as a team member toward task accomplishments
• Perform any other tasks assigned
