About The Position

Reporting to the Manufacturing and Operations Leader, the Packer is responsible for supporting the production process by assembling, inspecting, and preparing finished products for shipment, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. This is an on-site role at our Elk Grove Village, IL facility. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 07:15 AM. Overtime or weekends may be required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 6 months of prior experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of assembly processes and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, operating procedures, and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, twisting, and crouching for extended periods.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to assemble parts accurately.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Ability to identify defects or errors and take corrective action.
  • Solid troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate work logs.

Responsibilities

  • Follow standard work procedures to assemble finished products while adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet required quality standards.
  • Work closely with teammates, supervisors, and quality staff to improve processes and resolve production issues.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Detect and address issues that arise during the assembly process.
  • Take part in training sessions and initiatives aimed at developing skills and improving efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
