About The Position

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Pack quality product and assist operators in maintaining a safe work environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Willing to work a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts with planned day/night rotation Willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely Able to follow all safety & company rules Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety - Responsible for supporting and following safety rules and regulations; responsible for the safe operation of equipment in respective areas; attend monthly safety training Quality - Follow established quality guidelines to produce a product that meets criteria; closely monitor all paper for conformance to specifications; ensure that quality issues are resolved and communicated quickly and effectively, to minimize negative impact Production - package and secure finished good products to procedure; actively support line operators as needed; perform other duties deemed necessary by Operation Coordinator; actively participate in corrective actions for paper non-conformities, equipment abnormal, and material defects; fully support and work toward achieving plant targets and goals; familiar with quality defects for machine and paper; paper roll change and scan label roll; supports and follows housekeeping requirements. Daily Responsibilities - assist Bag machine operator; initiate start-up process; weigh product and enter production in the system; operate pallet jack to wrap finished product; inspect finished product and label product accordingly; use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE); maintain work environment through effective housekeeping practices and maintain equipment clean; utilize hand tools to perform tasks; apply comprehensive knowledge of machinery for efficient operation; collect, document, and weight scrap materials WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Inside and outside environments apply Manufacturing environment Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot) Subject to noise Inteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
