  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Oral and Written communication skills
  • Up to 50 lbs. lifting maximum
  • P.C. Knowledge
  • Mechanical Aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all written and verbal safety rules
  • Maintain high level of housekeeping
  • Understand all charting order instructions and arrange packaging supplies and boxes as per charting instructions
  • Pack and wrap finish goods as per procedure / charting instructions
  • Print / attach pallet labels as per the order and move pallets to the designated location
  • Assist Operator during Line Startup & Shutdown
  • Basic operation of Core bin and Auto handler
  • Basic operation of Winder panel
  • Able to clean the chillroll and die
  • Familiar with Machine and hand film packing
  • Use hand tools such as pallet jack
  • Run horizontal/vertical packing crane (Manual or radio control)
  • Arrange Packing supplies (Check that the Material Handler has all needed supplies for packaging a product)
  • Familiar with all the recycling products
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as requires
  • Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
  • Climbing ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet legs and /or hands and arms, Body agility is emphasized.
  • Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
  • Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist. Example: Changing paper in printer, copier machine.
  • Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
  • Crouching, bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
  • Reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Example: Making copies, giving presentations, directing traffic.
  • Walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.
  • Pushing, using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust, forward, downward or outward.
  • Pulling, using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
