Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to pack and/or palletize products.
• Understand packing requirements and machinery operations including palletizers, strapping machines, and wrapping machines.
• Exhibit teamwork skills and participate in team activities positively.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a continuous improvement environment.
• Follow company policies and conduct as per the Corporate and Local Handbook.
• Adhere to safety and health objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain proper ergonomics while performing tasks.
• Meet and maintain customer quality standards and Amcor standards.
• Achieve daily production goals and departmental objectives.
• Clean assigned work areas and return tools to storage after shifts.
• Direct non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.
• Maintain standard production objectives through proper machine operation and record production accurately.
• Communicate production information at shift change.
• Maintain proper radio etiquette when using company communication tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
