About The Position

Valence Surface Technologies production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm, 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm 6:30am)

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• None

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and count products and ma terials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, an d order information on specified forms and re cords.
• Seal containers or materials, using the stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies , or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the proces s has been completed correctly
• Perform othe r duties as assigned
