About The Position

As a part of the Packaging X3 team, you will play a key role in for managing packaging and WIP material consumed on all finished goods work orders and ensuring accurate records are maintained in the ERP system. Must be familiar with all packaging lines and processes. Ensure that inventory counts are correct when issuing and returning items.

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • High School Graduate or GED Equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Mathematical aptitudes are preferred.
  • Computer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Have efficient communication with the leader of the Packaging Area to know the priorities of the department
  • Understand the schedule for all packaging lines
  • Receive training on how to operate X3 ERP system both on desktop and scan gun
  • Print the pick tickets for the orders to be run on the production lines and request them from the inventory department using at least 5 hours advance notice to have the material before they run on the line.
  • Verify that the Material count placed in PSTAGE Location by the Inventory Department matches the quantities printed on each pallet label.
  • Using the scan gun or computer, issue the Packaging Materials against the Work Orders (WO) for each packaging line as needed to ensure each line can produce.
  • Using the scan gun or computer, report the Finish Goods against the WO, ensuring that the information and count on pallets matches the information on the pallet label and that they have been correctly registered in the ERP system.
  • Using the scan gun or computer, reintegrate packaging material and return it to the inventory department through the ERP system when the Work Order has been completed.
  • Printing pallet labels (using Bartender browser version).
  • Review every completed WO for any material inventory inconsistency or variance using the Packaging Work Order Review report in X3.
  • Document all information needed for future reference.
  • Maintains excellent communication and relationships with other employees to foster team effort.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring that lines have what they need and X3 transactions are completed correctly.
  • Work with Production Clerk to investigate and reconcile variances or discrepancies on completed orders.
  • Forklift Certified
