Charlotte Pipe and Foundry , located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Packaging Trainee with a proven track record to join our team. We are the leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Requirements

• Ability to learn and apply specific quality standards

Responsibilities

• Identify and separate poor quality parts
• Pack molded parts into boxes
• Lift and carry full boxes of parts from molding machine to pallet (approx. 2 feet)
• Label boxes
• Assemble molded parts
• Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards
• Barcode parts correctly
• Adjust case erectors and case sealers as needed
• Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform all job duties work effectively and efficiently with coworkers
• Productively receive information from Material Handlers regarding work related information
• Troubleshoot packaging machine
