About The Position

SBM Management is looking for a Packaging Technician! The Packaging Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging equipment used in the preparation of products for shipment. This role ensures that products are packed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company quality standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience, HS Diploma
• Certificate to FETAC level 6 (GSL)
• May be required to have a valid drivers license
• Ability to demonstrate sufficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate basic information to peers and team lead.
• Ability to demonstrate working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and administrative policies.
• Ability to follow direction and work with only moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Works on basic to routine assignments following written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Works in conjunction with other Packaging Technicians under the guidance of a Group/Team Leader and/or the Manager
• With guidance, works on the packaging products and materials.
• Sets up and operates Packaging line equipment including vial labeler, vial label laser, and carton laser
• Prepares cleaning solutions and cleans packaging areas, including walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment
• Complies with all safety-related procedures and practices personally and in area
• Sets up check-weighing of multi-unit cartons
• Performs basic ERP/MES transactions
• Receives well-defined instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments
• Reports variance or deviation from standard procedures to department management
• Takes variant action only with approval of department management
• Other duties as assigned.
