Packaging Technician - Summer 2026

PromegaMadison, WI

About The Position

Our Product Finishing team plays a critical role in getting Promega's life science tools into the hands of researchers around the world. We're a hands-on, detail-oriented group that takes pride in the precision and care that goes into every kit we assemble — because we know that the quality of our work directly impacts the science our customers depend on. We operate in a fast-paced production environment where teamwork is everything; we cross-train across product areas, support one another on complex packaging tasks, and hold ourselves accountable for both the quality of our work and the safety of our shared workspace. If you're someone who finds satisfaction in a well-run operation and wants your day-to-day work to connect to something meaningful, you'll fit right in here. As a Packaging Technician I, you'll be at the heart of our production process — pulling components from inventory, assembling kits and sub-assemblies, and ensuring every product is accurately labeled and documented before it leaves our hands. You'll work from quality system documents including kit packaging diagrams, maintain process orders in our ERP system, and assist with inventory as needed. No two days are identical; cross-training across different product finishing areas means you'll continually build new skills and stay engaged with the work. This is a role where your attention to detail, organizational instincts, and reliability make a real difference — and where showing up with a positive, team-first attitude is just as valued as technical execution.
