About The Position

The Packaging Tech II - 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 4x10s; 9:00 PM - 7:15 AM) is a critical role within the pharmaceutical packaging department, responsible for ensuring the safe and quality packaging of pharmaceutical products. This position requires demonstrated expertise on one or multiple production lines, where the technician will set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging machinery. The technician must ensure that all packaging operations are completed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). In this role, the technician will execute packaging line operations, processes, and procedures while coordinating the packaging efforts for designated production lines and teams. Responsibilities include completing machine setups, operations, tooling changes, adjustments, and troubleshooting related to the operation of one or more packaging lines. The technician will also assist in maintaining line efficiencies and standards to meet quality packaging requirements and established routing times. Additionally, the Packaging Tech II may participate in the training of new team members or retraining current team members to ensure adherence to all SOPs. Maintaining appropriate quality and production documentation is essential, as is the review of all assigned batch record documentation to ensure error-free work. The technician will perform general, light maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines and related equipment, while also reviewing daily production against defined routings and identifying ideas for continuous improvement. Collaboration with Technical Services, Maintenance, and Engineering departments regarding new equipment and equipment qualifications is also part of the role. Ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with safety requirements and guidelines is paramount, as is demonstrating and promoting the company’s corporate values to the Packaging team members.
