About The Position

The position is responsible for building, filling, staging, and capping totes. Will also be responsible for basic sanitation clean up and sanitizing equipment in the cold room.

Requirements

Safety oriented.
Excellent communications skills
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to give and follow directions.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a frozen food facility with pea, corn, carrot, and potato equipment a plus.
bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Always conduct all tasks in a safe manner.
Assist cold room operator in training of new team members.
Build, fill, stage, and cap totes in the cold room.
Basic Sanitation clean-up activities, application of chemicals and use of sanitizer on equipment in the cold room.
Report on any safety, quality, and sanitation regulation issues.
Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects and malfunctions.
Maintain good housekeeping of work area.
Participate in safety huddles.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Operate tote pallet dispensing system.
Must complete Personal Job Qualifications (PQR’s)
Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
