Operation of conveyor belts and delivery of product to the RPs. Operation of Metal Detectors and documentation. Loading and changing rolls. Understand make sheets and run multiple customers simultaneously while minimizing waste. Track, record and minimize materials usage. Track and record dept downtime. Understand and perform CIP / Clean up as needed. Give breaks / lunch to WL as needed. Work with maintenance to maintain and troubleshoot problems. Other duties as assigned by WL or Supervisor. The ability to work effectively under pressure is critical to this position. Track case count per customer order Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and be productive in high pressure, fast paced situations. Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Promptly reports any unsafe working conditions.
- Promptly reports all potential quality and food safety hazards to management.
- Complies with all of Saputo’s food safety, quality programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates integrity in all business activities with employees, visitors and vendors.
- Reliable and consistent attendance and available to work any shift, overtime or holidays as required; may be required to cover the absence of key personnel.
