About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and talented [Packaging and Production Coordinator] to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of primary and secondary packaging across skincare and makeup launches. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to grow within the beauty space of product development and packaging. As a member of the Packaging team, you will collaborate with Packaging, Product Development, Creative, Marketing, and Operations and report directly to the Director of Packaging and Production. This role is primarily onsite and requires the ability to work from the office or contract manufacturer locations five days per week. Occasional remote work may be permitted based on business needs.

Requirements

  • 0–2 year of experience in working in packaging, preferably in the beauty space
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working hands-on with physical products and packaging.
  • Strong follow-through and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excited to learn and grow in product development within the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

  • Request, receive, and organize packaging samples (bottles, jars, pumps, cartons, labels).
  • Assist with building physical mockups for internal reviews, photoshoots, and retailer meetings.
  • Help manage artwork routing and approvals across internal teams.
  • Support on-site production through quality testing and observation.
  • Assist with organizing samples and requesting basic packaging testing from labs and manufacturers (leak testing, compatibility, particle size, etc.)
  • Maintain organized storage of packaging samples, bulk components, and packaging inventory.
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts of packaging components and development samples.
  • Work closely with the Product Development team on product sampling requests (for packaging components and finished goods).
  • Update and maintain packaging tracker with latest projects and dates.
  • Follow up with suppliers on sample shipments and timelines.
  • Prepare packaging materials and samples for internal meetings.
  • Monitor beauty packaging trends and share inspiration with the team.
  • Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed to support departmental goals.
  • Provide backup coverage for team members during absences or peak workload periods.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks or clerical duties as assigned.
  • Support cross-departmental efforts or collaborative initiatives when required.
