Packaging Position - 30 hours per week
About The Position
We are a family owned and operated grain-pulse facility looking for warehouse team members with great work ethic and the ability to work in a fast paced team environment and/or independently. Our facility manufactures the products we sell on Amazon, Walmart, and our own website. Position: 30 Hours per week M-F 8:30-2:30 PM Compensation: $17.13/hr. with no experience. Compensation is based on job performance. Performance, raises and promotions are available. Benefits: After 90 day probation period the following benefits are available: Medical, Dental, Vision, may use accrued sick leave, Life Flight and 401K retirement plans.
Requirements
- Warehouse experience preferred or be trainable
- Experience in a fast paced production environment preferred or be trainable.
- Forklift Certificate or be trainable.
- Possess good organizational skills.
- Be detail oriented.
- Must work efficiently.
- Self-Discipline: Able to follow directions, receive input and, be a self-starter.
- Use good and clear communication skills between team members and management.
- Be able to adapt to changing workloads.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Operate processing and/or packaging machinery
- Follow quality control measures for all product(s)
- Sew product bags shut
- Build boxes
- Label bags organizing
- Accurate labeling of product(s)
- Shipping & receiving
- Complete all documentation/paperwork before end of shift each day
- Other duties as assigned
