About The Position

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE Seeking a motivated Packaging Operator that will operate and complete minor trouble shooting on machines. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Operate Automatic or Semi-Automatic Packaging equipment and pallet jack. Must be proficient in 50% of packaging line operations. Perform process audits, equipment challenges, and minor troubleshooting of common equipment issues. Monitor operations of packaging and spray test equipment. Collect samples at specified intervals per the MO and PMO. Document all in-process audits for packaging in a timely manner. Audits are completed to meet specifications and conformance per PMO. Verify components and materials needed on the reconciliation page of PMO. Visually inspects at various operating stations for material and quality defects. Perform line cleaning during changeover. Perform all department operations consistently and at standard cost and quality levels. Maintain job qualifications current and complete each training modules within the set period. Takes the initiative to help when required or needed within total production operation. Perform hazardous waste duties, including handling and disposal of generated waste. Attend and participate in the Tier 1 process. Communicate line equipment issues, safety, and GMP issues. Follow accurate reporting procedures for Vorne System on each line. Be familiar with the usage of different equipment barcodes. Report incidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, illnesses immediately to the supervisor. Accessing safety data sheets (SDS) Submit OTSS and Pro-active safety ideas. Usage of appropriate PPE in each line, as required. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or MFL.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 12 + months of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to weigh items and have general knowledge of math including metric conversions and percentages.
