About The Position

Local chemical facility (Theodore, AL) is looking for a full-time Machine/Packaging Operator MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE. THESE ARE ROTATING (12Hr) SHIFT POSITIONS Pay Range: $21.91 - $26.26 Activities would include:

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 1-3 years industrial experience
• Extensive forklift experience
• Familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including: extensive forklift experience
• Loading/unloading and packaging of product
• Work around rotating/moving equipment while packaging
• Manually handles various materials.
• Work at heights including off the top of ladders and the top of railcars and bulk truck trailers.
• Climb ladders and stairs to perform various tasks.
• Respond quickly to identify and correct quality issues.
• Maneuver and work in confined spaces to clean out and prep equipment and perform basic maintenance functions.
