Packaging Operator - Part Time

About The Position

This is an entry-level, part-time position responsible for performing basic packaging operations. Responsibilities include hand packaging cartons, cases, or bottles; preparing items for shipment; and assisting with packaging operations as needed. This role offers flexible, part-time scheduling up to 29 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled within the operating hours of Monday-Saturday 7:30am-11:30pm, based on business needs.

Requirements

0–2 years of relevant experience
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while meeting quality standards
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to appropriate personal hygiene standards
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to carry, push, pull, and lift materials
Frequent standing and walking
Repetitive motions and manual dexterity (handling, fingering, reaching)
Ability to climb, kneel, and perform physical tasks as required
Ability to hear and communicate effectively
Near visual acuity (clear vision at 20 inches or less)

Responsibilities

Perform basic packaging functions at assigned work centers
Hand package cartons, cases, and bottles according to standards
Prepare finished goods for shipment
Assist with material handling for equipment operations
Support equipment setup and breakdown activities
Perform sanitation duties under instruction of a trained operator, including: Cleaning containers, parts, and buckets
Proper disposal of pharmaceutical and/or hazardous waste
Maintain compliance with company rules, regulations, and safety standards
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and hearing protection as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
