About The Position

The Packaging Operator (Manufacturing Operator I) is responsible for supporting production operations by performing labeling, relabeling, and packaging of reference standard solutions and neat material aliquots used in life science products. The role ensures that all packaging and labeling processes are completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with company quality standards and regulatory guidelines. The operator will work closely with production teams to meet daily manufacturing targets while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or packaging operations
  • Ability to follow written instructions, SOPs, and batch records
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work in a regulated production environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred, ideally in a scientific or technical discipline
  • Previous experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or chemical manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with GMP, quality documentation, or batch records
  • Experience with chemical handling, labeling systems, or packaging operations

Responsibilities

  • Perform labeling, relabeling, and packaging of reference standard solutions and chemical materials according to documented procedures.
  • Prepare and complete batch records, production forms, and documentation required for packaging operations.
  • Review batch records and packaging documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance before and after execution.
  • Ensure all packaged materials meet quality standards, labeling accuracy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support production schedules by ensuring timely completion of packaging projects to meet operational goals.
  • Communicate production delays, issues, or discrepancies to supervisors and relevant teams.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and company quality policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area following housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Handle chemicals and packaging materials while using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency and maintain productivity targets.
