About The Position

2nd shift Opportunity Responsible for packing converted rolls into boxes and placing them on pallets. Packaging Operators ensure that the quality and quantity of packaged product conforms to ORAFOL standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma required
Basic math skills and computer data entry required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have a positive can do attitude and a sense of accountability
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 60 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance
Must be able to stand for long periods of time; must be able to walk, stretch, reach, crawl and work in small spaces on a regular basis
Must be able to understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures and instructions
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; must pay close attention to detail.
Required ability to regularly move about the facility and sit, bend, stoop, or kneel
Demonstrated ability to work as a team

Warehouse/Manufacturing experience desired

Responsibilities

Pack converted rolls into boxes and place them on pallets in a safe and efficient manner
Ensure correct pallets, boxes, end caps, etc., are being used for branded/unbranded material
Use color chart to identify mother roll series and converted rolls
Perform Quality Checks on converted rolls
Work within Business Express Software (BE) to book out materials used for packaging; use the Box Label Special Converting function.
Store carts in designated area
Prepare hand folded boxes
Perform cycle counts as scheduled or as needed
Replenish packaging material as needed
Pull and duplicate labels
Operate PIT
Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace
Participate in performance improvement programs, data collection, and meetings as directed
Follows prescribed safety regulations and use required PPE
Maintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOLs Quality Program
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
