Packaging a variety of products according to customer specifications. Position: Packaging Operator I Schedule: 3rd Shift - Monday - Thursday - 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends) Base Rate: $15.00/Hour Shift Differential: $1.00 for Hours worked on 2nd Shift Essential Job Functions Reviews Work Orders to determine packaging requirements. Visually inspects product for defects and transfers defective items to the appropriate location. Manual weighing and counting of product. Loads product into packaging machines, Monitors machines for proper function. Unloads and visually inspects packaged product to ensure it meets quality standards. Places packaged product into boxes. Applies identification labels to boxes. Accurately completes departmental paperwork. Education & Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
