About The Position

We're looking for a Packaging & Maintenance Manager to lead packaging operations and plant maintenance. You'll ensure beer is packaged on time and to specification, oversee planning and equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement across processes and teams. This role combines strategic planning, technical leadership, and team development to deliver high-quality packaged products efficiently and safely. You will take care of maintenance policy and supervise implementation, for the purpose of providing continuous work and life of machines and equipment with minimum costs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with the same or very similar role in FMCG sector
  • Experience with managing people and processes
  • Strong background and understanding of production lines maintenance, improvements, and process optimization with focus on cost effectiveness
  • Knowledge of EU and local legislations (equipment, ATEX, facilities), CAPEX projects
  • Bachelor degree in Operations, Engineering, Science or Business, Mechanical engineering or some equivalent of it
  • MS Office and English (working proficiency)
  • Ability to set or influence the business strategy for own business unit
  • Conceptual thinking in complex or new situations to develop solutions

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and direction to the front line teams focused on the attainment of targets
  • Ensure packaging line capabilities and troubleshooting issues plus maintain safety procedures to prevent, predicate and corrective mechanical or electrical maintenance
  • Meet budget goals and overview the effectiveness of packaging
  • Cooperate with other managers from supply chain and departments (Procurement)
  • Coordinate daily operations across all production lines, ensuring quotas are met and output is accurately tracked
  • Conduct routine product inspection and testing to ensure products meet high quality standards, at all stages of production
  • Maintenance of production equipment and buildings, facility service
  • Foster a positive, ethical, and team-oriented work culture in your team of 9 people (direct reports), while actively seeking ways to improve efficiency, consistency, and performance across production lines as well as upskilling and develop your people
