Ready to be part of something special? Join our Family! Responsibilities: Handle start-up and shut-down duties relating to packaging equipment at the beginning and end of each shift. Conduct preventative maintenance & cleaning of the machine daily. Check that each packaging machine is in good repair and works under regulations set by the company. Responsible for packaging integrity and quality checks on each packaging order. Monitor correct product weights and ensures that they are maintained throughout the shift. Handle/discard waste that packaging machines produce; in a safe manner. Monitor packaging machines by using appropriate controls to package different items. Load and unload items into packaging machines and remove rejected packages. Follow all GMPs and Safety Procedures. May perform other duties as assigned. Experience, Skills, Education: Packaging Machine Operator Experience Required. Preventative Maintenance Skills Required. Maintenance Knowledge Preferred. Effective Communication Skills. Demonstrated Organizational Skills. Good Math Skills. Reading/Comprehension Abilities. Demonstrated Leadership Capabilities. Ability to Work Independently. Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly.
