Details: This job is on site at our facility in Hinesburg, VT Shift: Monday – Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30pm Hourly rate starting from $19/hour Job Summary: The Packaging Machine Operator works as part of a team to prepare packaged goods. This team member efficiently operates machinery specific to the department, adhering to safety protocols, ensuring accuracy, and delivering high-quality products while minimizing waste.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a production environment, ideally with food or involving mechanical equipment is preferred.
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Effective communication.
  • Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the packaging process.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to CGMP guidelines.
  • Assemble and fabricate packaging materials as needed.
  • Package finished products according to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Complete paperwork for operations and quality.
  • Utilize machinery to carry out tasks.
  • Work to mitigate safety risks.
